Adding Services

Adding services in WHMCS allows you to offer various hosting, domain registration, and other related services to your clients. Here are the steps to add services in WHMCS:

  1. Login to WHMCS:

    • Log in to your WHMCS administrator dashboard using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Products/Services:

    • From the main menu, go to "Setup" > "Products/Services" or "Products/Services > Products/Services."
  3. Add a New Product/Service:

    • Click on the "Create a New Group" button to create a new product group if needed. A product group helps organize your services.

    • Once you have a group (or if you're adding a product to an existing group), click on the "Create a New Product" button.

  4. Configure Product Details:

    • Product Type: Choose the type of product or service you're adding (e.g., Hosting Account, Domain Registration, etc.).

    • Product Name: Enter a name for the service.

    • Product Description: Provide a brief description of the service.

    • Product Group: Select the group to which the service belongs.

    • Welcome Email: Choose whether to send a welcome email to the client upon purchase.

    • Require Domain: If applicable, select whether this product requires a domain to be associated with it.

    • Automatically Setup: Choose whether the service should be set up automatically after payment.

    • Pricing: Set the pricing details for the service.

    • Module Settings: If the service requires integration with a specific module (e.g., a hosting control panel), configure the module settings here.

    • Other Settings: Configure any additional settings relevant to the specific type of service you're adding.

  5. Save Changes:

    • Click "Save Changes" to save the product/service details.
  6. Set Up Pricing:

    • Define the pricing options for the service, including setup fees, recurring fees, billing cycles, etc.
  7. Configure Modules (if applicable):

    • If the service requires integration with a specific module (e.g., a hosting control panel like cPanel), navigate to "Module Settings" and configure the necessary details.
  8. Add Service Addons (Optional):

    • If you offer addons for this service (e.g., extra disk space, additional domains), you can add them in the "Product Addons" tab.
  9. Save Changes:

    • After making any necessary configurations, remember to save your changes.
  10. Activate Product/Service:

    • If you're ready to offer this service to clients, make sure it's set to "Active" in the product settings.

That's it! You've successfully added a new service in WHMCS. Clients can now purchase and manage this service through their client portal. Make sure to thoroughly test the service after adding it to ensure that it functions as expected.
