Enable Unsuspension

Enabling unsuspension in WHMCS allows you to automatically restore hosting accounts or services that were previously suspended. This can happen when a client resolves the issue that led to the suspension, such as making a payment for an overdue invoice. Here's how you can enable unsuspension in WHMCS:

  1. Login to WHMCS:

    • Access your WHMCS administrator dashboard using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Automation Settings:

    • From the main menu, go to "Setup" > "Automation Settings".
  3. Configure Unsuspension Settings:

    • In the "Automation Settings" section, you'll find various tabs for different automation aspects.

    • Go to the "Auto Unsuspension" tab.

  4. Enable Auto Unsuspension:

    • Check the box that says "Automatically Unsuspend on Payment".

    • This means that when a client makes a payment for an overdue invoice, their hosting account or service will be automatically unsuspended.

  5. Save Changes:

    • Click "Save Changes" to apply the unsuspension settings.
  6. Testing Unsuspension:

    • Perform tests to ensure that the automatic unsuspension is functioning as expected. You can simulate a payment on a previously overdue invoice to trigger unsuspension.
  7. Monitoring and Notifications:

    • Keep an eye on the unsuspension logs and notifications to check for any issues or discrepancies in the automatic unsuspension process.
  8. Communication with Clients:

    • It's a good practice to inform your clients about your unsuspension policy in your terms of service or in communication materials.

Remember to regularly review and adjust your unsuspension settings as your business requirements evolve. Additionally, consider providing clear instructions and support for clients who may need assistance with the unsuspension process.
