Adding Headers and Footers

In WHMCS, you can add headers and footers to your email templates to provide a consistent and branded look to your communications. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Log into WHMCS:

    Access your WHMCS admin panel using your administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to Email Templates:

    • Go to "Setup" > "Email Templates."
  3. Edit an Email Template:

    • Locate the email template to which you want to add a header or footer and click on its name to edit it.
  4. Edit the Template Body:

    • In the HTML editor, position the cursor where you want to insert the header or footer.
  5. Add Header:

    • To add a header, you can directly enter or paste the HTML code for your header design.

    • If you have the header saved as a separate HTML file, you can host it on your server and provide a link to it.

  6. Add Footer:

    • Similarly, add the HTML code for your footer design in the appropriate location.

    • If you have the footer saved as a separate HTML file, host it on your server and provide a link.

  7. Save Changes:

    • Once you have added the header and footer, click on the "Save Changes" button to save the updated template.
  8. Test the Email:

    • Send a test email to yourself to verify that the header and footer are displaying as expected.

Remember to ensure that your header and footer HTML code is properly formatted and responsive for different devices. This helps maintain a professional and consistent look across various email clients.

Additionally, you can also create separate email templates for headers and footers and use them as variables in your main email templates.
