Disabling Templates

In WHMCS, you can disable email templates if you no longer wish to use them. Disabling a template means that it will not be available for selection when sending emails, but the template remains in your system in case you want to enable it again later. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Log into WHMCS:

Access your WHMCS admin panel using your administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to Email Templates:

    • Go to "Setup" > "Email Templates."
  3. View Existing Templates:

    • You will see a list of email templates that are available for editing.
  4. Disable a Template:

    • Locate the template you want to disable and click on the "Edit" icon (usually represented by a pencil icon) next to its name.

    • In the template editor, find the "Disabled" option and check the box next to it.

  5. Save Changes:

    • Click the "Save Changes" button to confirm the changes.
  6. Confirm Disabled Status:

    • Once saved, the template will be disabled and no longer available for selection when sending emails.
  7. Re-enabling a Template:

    • If you want to use the template again in the future, you can go back to the email templates section, edit the template, and uncheck the "Disabled" option. Then, save the changes.

By disabling email templates, you can declutter your list of available templates and make it easier to find and select the templates you frequently use. Keep in mind that disabling a template does not delete it from your system; it simply makes it unavailable for selection until you decide to re-enable it.
