Assigning a Client to a Client Group

Assigning a client to a client group in WHMCS allows you to categorize and manage clients based on specific criteria. Here are the steps to assign a client to a client group:

  1. Log into WHMCS:

    Access your WHMCS admin panel using your administrator credentials.

  2. Search for the Client:

    • Go to "Clients" in the top menu.
    • Use the search bar to find the client you want to assign to a group.
  3. Open the Client's Profile:

    • Click on the name of the client to open their profile.
  4. Edit the Client Group:

    • In the client's profile, find the "Client Group" dropdown menu.
  5. Select the Client Group:

    • Click on the dropdown menu and select the client group you want to assign to the client.
  6. Save Changes:

    • Click the "Save Changes" button to apply the new client group to the client.

The client is now assigned to the selected client group. This allows you to apply different settings, pricing, and permissions to clients based on their group membership, helping you tailor your services and offerings to specific segments of your client base.
