Order Statuses

In WHMCS, order statuses represent the different stages an order goes through from the time it is placed to when it is completed or canceled. These statuses help you track and manage orders effectively. Here are some common order statuses in WHMCS:

  1. Pending: This status indicates that an order has been placed but has not yet been processed or confirmed. It's the initial status for all new orders.

  2. Active: This status signifies that an order has been successfully processed and activated. For example, a hosting service has been provisioned.

  3. Suspended: This status is used when a service associated with the order has been temporarily suspended, often due to non-payment.

  4. Canceled: An order with this status has been officially canceled and is no longer active. This could be due to client request, non-payment, or other reasons.

  5. Fraud: If an order is suspected to be fraudulent, it may be assigned this status, indicating that further action or verification is required.

  6. Terminated: This status indicates that a service associated with the order has been permanently terminated or deleted.

  7. Expired: This status is used when a service or subscription has reached the end of its billing cycle and has not been renewed.

  8. Refunded: If a refund has been processed for an order, it will be marked with this status.

  9. Pending Transfer: For domain orders, this status indicates that the domain transfer process is in progress.

  10. Completed: This status is used when all aspects of an order have been successfully completed and no further action is required.

  11. Pending Registration: For domain orders, this status indicates that the domain registration process is in progress.

  12. Pending Transfer Approval: This status is specifically for domain transfers and indicates that approval is required from the domain owner.

These are some of the common order statuses you might encounter in WHMCS. Keep in mind that the specific list of statuses and their meanings may vary based on your WHMCS setup, any customizations you've made, and the services you offer. It's important to familiarize yourself with the specific order statuses used in your WHMCS installation for accurate order tracking and management.
