SmartAdvice is still present on the WordPress dashboard when AccelerateWP disabled

If you're seeing the SmartAdvice plugin in your WordPress dashboard even after disabling AccelerateWP, it's possible that the SmartAdvice plugin is not directly tied to AccelerateWP and may be installed separately.

Here are some steps you can take to address this:

  1. Check Installed Plugins:

    • Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Look for the SmartAdvice plugin in the list. If it's there, you can deactivate and/or delete it if you no longer need it.
  2. Clear WordPress Cache:

    • If you have a caching plugin installed (other than AccelerateWP), clear the cache to ensure that any changes take effect.
  3. Check Theme Functions:

    • Sometimes, themes might include custom functionalities or recommended plugins. Check your theme settings or functions.php file for any references to the SmartAdvice plugin.
  4. Review Any Other Optimization Plugins:

    • If you have other optimization plugins installed, check their settings to see if they may be responsible for displaying SmartAdvice.
  5. Contact Support:

    • If you're still unable to remove SmartAdvice, consider reaching out to the support team of the theme or any optimization plugins you have installed. They may have specific instructions or insights regarding SmartAdvice.
  6. Check Database:

    • In rare cases, information about plugins can be stored in the database. If you're comfortable with it, you can check the database for any references to the SmartAdvice plugin.

Remember to always back up your site before making significant changes, especially if you're going to be modifying theme files or database entries. This will help you recover in case anything goes wrong.

If none of these steps work, consider reaching out to the support channels of the plugins or themes involved for specific guidance on removing SmartAdvice from your dashboard.
