Why LVE stats are not collected for some accounts, or they are not visible in LVE Manager?

If LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment) stats are not being collected for some accounts or they are not visible in the LVE Manager, there could be several reasons for this. Here are some potential causes and steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Incorrect Configuration:

    • Check if the LVE configuration is correct. Ensure that LVE is enabled and properly configured in your environment.
  2. Missing or Outdated LVE Kernel:

    • Make sure you have the correct version of the LVE kernel installed. Outdated or missing kernel modules can cause issues with LVE statistics.
  3. LVE Daemon Issues:

    • Check if the LVE daemon (lve-stats or similar) is running. If it's not running, start or restart the daemon and check if stats begin to be collected.
  4. Permissions Issues:

    • Ensure that the accounts in question have the necessary permissions to access LVE statistics. Verify that the accounts are assigned to the correct LVE.
  5. LVE Manager Compatibility:

    • Confirm that your LVE Manager version is compatible with your LVE kernel version. Incompatibility between these components can cause issues with stats collection and display.
  6. Check for Resource Overages:

    • If an account is not generating traffic or using resources, there might not be any statistics to display. Check if there are any active processes or requests for the accounts in question.
  7. Logging and Error Messages:

    • Look for error messages or warnings related to LVE stats in system logs. This can provide clues about what might be causing the issue.
  8. Check LVE Manager Logs:

    • Review logs specific to the LVE Manager application for any errors or warnings that might indicate issues with stats collection.
  9. Firewall or Security Software:

    • Ensure that there are no firewall rules or security software blocking communication between the LVE Manager and the server.
  10. Filesystem Issues:

  • Verify that there are no issues with the filesystem where LVE statistics are stored. Check for disk space, permissions, and any potential filesystem errors.
  1. Contact CloudLinux Support:

    • If you've tried the above steps and are still experiencing issues, consider reaching out to CloudLinux support. They may have encountered similar issues and can provide specific guidance.

Remember to back up any critical data and configurations before making significant changes to your system or LVE settings.
