How to change LVE limit for all users

Changing the LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment) limits for all users on a CloudLinux server can be done through the LVE Manager in WHM (Web Host Manager). Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to WHM: Log in to WHM with your administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to LVE Manager: In WHM, use the search bar or navigate to "LVE Manager" or "CloudLinux LVE Manager" in the left-hand sidebar.

  3. Adjust Limits: In the LVE Manager, you can adjust various limits such as CPU, memory, and other resources. To change a specific limit for all users:

    • For example, to change the memory limit, click on "Limits" under "LVE Configuration" and then click "Edit" next to "Memory (MB)."
    • Adjust the limit to your desired value.
  4. Apply Changes: Once you've made the desired changes, click the "Save" button or equivalent to apply the new limits.

  5. Notify Users (if needed): If the changes are significant, consider notifying your users in advance so they are aware of the updated limits.

Please exercise caution when changing resource limits, especially if you're making significant reductions. Sudden and drastic changes could potentially impact the performance and functionality of hosted websites and applications.

Remember to monitor the server's performance after making any adjustments to ensure that the new limits are appropriate for the workload.
