LVE Statistics Doesn't Show Stats for User with Big UIDs

If LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment) Statistics is not showing stats for a user with a large UID (User ID), it may be due to a compatibility issue between the user's UID and the LVE statistics software.

Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Verify UID Size Limitations:

    • Some systems may have limitations on the maximum size of UIDs. Ensure that the UID of the affected user is within the supported range for your system.
  2. Check LVE Statistics Version:

    • Ensure that you are using the latest version of LVE Statistics. There might be bug fixes or improvements related to UID handling in newer versions.
  3. Update CloudLinux and LVE Packages:

    • Make sure you have the latest updates for CloudLinux and LVE packages installed on your system. Updates can include compatibility fixes.
  4. Check for Known Issues:

    • Search for any known issues or compatibility problems related to large UIDs in the CloudLinux and LVE support forums or knowledge base.
  5. Report the Issue:

    • If you cannot find a solution in the available resources, consider reporting the issue to CloudLinux support. They may have specific insights or solutions for this problem.
  6. Verify Filesystem and User Management:

    • Confirm that the filesystem and user management tools you're using support large UIDs. Some older or custom systems may have limitations in this regard.
  7. Inspect Logs:

    • Examine system logs and the logs of LVE Statistics for any error messages or warnings related to the user with the large UID.
  8. Check for Custom Scripts or Plugins:

    • If you have any custom scripts, plugins, or extensions installed that interact with user accounts, ensure they are compatible with large UIDs.
  9. Test with a Standard UID:

    • If possible, create a new user with a standard UID and see if LVE Statistics works as expected for that user. This can help determine if the issue is specific to large UIDs.
  10. Reinstall or Reconfigure:

    • As a last resort, consider reinstalling or reconfiguring the LVE Statistics component. This might resolve any misconfigurations or compatibility issues.

Always back up important data and configurations before making significant changes to your system. If you're not comfortable making these changes yourself, consider seeking the assistance of a system administrator or CloudLinux support.
